Events on Three Mills Island

In 2018, Art’s House and Anjunadeep festivals debuted at Three Mills Green. After a successful first year, both events will be returning for 2019 on the second weekend of August.
The promoter is also programming three new events over the Bank Holiday weekend in August. On Monday 26th August there is a community based music event hosted by BBC Radio 2’s Sara Cox. This event is open to all ages and offers 2,000 free tickets to residents within a 1 mile radius.
Art’s House Festival, 10th August 12:00-23:00
Art’s House Festival is a house, techno and disco festival hosted by the widely popular DJ, Artwork. As in 2018, Artwork will be playing back to back all day with DJ Harvey.
Anjunadeep Open Air, 11th August 12:00-22:00
Anjunadeep returns to Three Mills for 2019 with another line-up comprising of Above and Beyond’s most popular electronic acts.
One Day At The Disco, 24th August 12:00-23:00
A new event for 2019, One Day At The Disco brings together some of the most popular names in house, disco and electro including the likes of Derrick Carter, Inner City and Detroit Swindle.
Maiden Voyage, 25th August 12:00-22:00
Maiden Voyage is a new festival concept curated by Jazz Café, the popular live music venue based in Camden Town. Talent for the show exhibits artists who have all previously performed as Jazz Café; including jazz legend Roy Ayers, as well as hip-hop, afrobeat and funk artists such as Madlib, Awesome Tapes From Africa and Gilles Peterson.
Community Event - Sara Cox Presents Just Can’t Get Enough 80’s in the Park, 26th August 12:00-22:00
BBC Radio 2’s Sara Cox brings her Just Can’t Get Enough 80’s show to Three Mills Green for 2019. Open to all ages, the ultimate 80’s event will be an entertainment filled day for all the family, with activities such as glitter, face painting and more!
The voice of local residents in the community is hugely important to us, and we want to ensure that your views are heard. We welcome your feedback from previous events, and on the operational plans for the 2019 events. You are invited to join us at the Community Consultation Meetings we will hold during the planning process of the 2019 event.
Community Consultation Meetings
Thanks to all who attended our first Community Consultation Meeting on 28th January.
Through continued consultation with local residents, stakeholders, Lee Valley Regional Park Authority and Newham Council we endeavour to make improvements to the events for 2019.
